Positioning
Try to get a close up of your pet. Being on the same level as your pet work best. Try to avoid taking photos from overhead. Remember to make sure their ears are in frame.
Lighting
You need good lighting for the best result. Photo taken outside or in a well lit room is always recommended, and that you're happy with the colors in your photo.

I use this product for my two cats because i live alone and go away on weekends sometimes. It gives me a sense of security and peace of mind to see them and know theyre okay. I positioned it to show most of one room and because of the microphone if they here me talking they will come so i can see them even if they werent already in the room. I can also hear them which is nice. The treat function is also cool. The night function and motion sense are both good. I will say that the new update to the app you must download to go along with the camera isnt my favorite. I can only talk or listen not both at one time. Thats just a small bug though and depending on why you want it it might not even matter to you. The app is pretty easy to install and sink to the device as well is the device to hook up to the internet. It took me about 30-45 minutes to do and i suck at technology. Overall, totally worth it for less than $100. No regrets. I've had it about three months. Photo of my two cats this past month to show picture quality.
My girlfriend was on a business trip and was missing her dog. This helped. The app is a little weird but easy to understand. You must hold down the treat button of a second. If you just tap it it doesn't do anything.
I got a puppy that is part terrorist and part goat. He quickly learned the word no, once I got the camera and set it up (which was super easy!) we were able to check on him periodically and talk to him, throw him some treats (which is so much fun). We havent had any issues with him since. This camera has saved many shoes and pillows and the couches from any further damage. I am so thankful for it!
This seemed to work ok for a about a month with intermittent connectivity issues. But then it just completely stopped working altogether. There is no available troubleshooting except to turn it off which does nothing. This thing was a waste of money and space in my garbage. Buy another brand.
We love our Owlet Pet camera and so do our dogs. It works great and I love being able to check in our dogs during the day. The dogs enjoy getting treats. It was easy to set up, easy to use, and the app is user friendly. This is an awesome purchase.
