Our 11 month old puppy (Mauzer - Maltese/Miniature Schnauzer mix) loves this Chuckit Kick Fetch Toy Ball. We got the small size ball for him since he is a small dog and he only weights about 15 lbs. When we showed him the ball the first day it was delivered, he was super excited. In his mind, it was like "yay... new toy... new big toy!". As we walked to the dog park, he couldn't contain himself. He was jumping with excitement and pulling us to walk faster toward the dog park. In the dog park, we would either kick or toss the ball for him and he would go after the ball and bring it back for more. Our little guy is a heavy chewer. He would chew through his toys in a couple days if he wanted to. We have toys that lasted for 5 minutes, 30 minutes, hours, days, weeks, and/or months. It all depends on his mood and what he wants to destroy. He usually destroys toys when he is super bored (his way of entertaining himself). We would say this Chuckit Kick Fetch Toy Ball is very durable. Easy to wash/clean when it gets dirty. We would only give him the ball when we play fetch with him. We don't leave him alone with the ball knowing he would probably chew it up.We give the ball a 5 star for durability, easy to clean and cheaper on (costs more at Petco or Petsmart).
I bought two of these balls for my Golden Retriever puppy. He is currently 8 months old. One ball is for work (as he goes with me every day) and one for home. He absolutely loves it! We takes breaks at work kicking and throwing it and he can't get enough of it. It's easy for him to hold and bring back or parade around with.
My dogs love this! One of my pups is a power chewer and this ball has held up longer than any other that I've had before. Would definitely recommend and buy this again!
I've had the large ChuckIt for over 6 months. At first I was afraid that the dogs would shred it. They shred stuffed toys like there's no tomorrow. Luckily this thing is built well. It basically looks brand new and has been outside in the sun and rain the whole time. My golden retrievers love it. They have no problem picking it up by the groove. They even play tug of war with it!
I bought this ball for my 5 month old Labrador puppy and found it to be even more fun than I thought. My daughter actually plays soccer with the dog and they have so much fun. It is a delight to watch and the puppy gets so much exercise. She has even learned to pick it up with her teeth and to bring it back to you when she gets too far ahead of you. Though she is always picking it up, the ball shows no sign of being destroyed and we have been playing with it for weeks. I take it away from her when we are not playing so that she doesn't chew on it.
