Waterproof GPS Dog Tracker | White

Our Dog loves to run and is extremely smart and is always figuring out how to get out off her chain trying to play running games. She has figured out how to undo any type of hook, loop, chain link, button, and or etc. We haven't lost her since we bought this. We can easily locate her. The only draw back is battery life is too short and the rubber part that holds it to her call or isn't made of a heavy enough rubber. HOWEVER if you buy the $120.00 plan it covers free replacements for that.. Lastly Customer support are very friendly and helpful.

I have a foxhound mix who cannot be off leash or his nose will take him far from home. Anyway I've tried the Whistle. And the Fi. And then the tractive. I love this tracker. It fits on most collars and doesn't require a special one as the Fi collar does. I love that it has lights and sound. Which is great as while the sound is not shockingly loud it does work to get my hound to stop his nose for a moment. At first I wasn't impressed by the battery life but the Tractive Team has made that concern a thing of the past with WiFi zones which make a battery last a long time. This is the perfect tracker for my dog and I. Two paws up.

I have tried many different types and brands of cat trackers over the years and this is the best hands down. I am aware this is marketed as a dog tracker (not for cats). Due its size, it may look a bit bulky in a small cat, but it does not seem to bother even my 11 months old cat. On the other hand, a larger unit translates in a longer battery life, which is very welcome. My cats are very active playing outdoors everyday and still this tracker may go for 2-3 days without needing recharging.Another thing neat on this tracker is the wireless charging, which is way better than fiddling with cables. Since there are no plugs, we get the added benefit of a more water-resistant device.Regarding subscription, some other reviews mention that you need a yearly subscription, but it seems they now support monthly subscriptions, since I started with one a couple months back. A yearly subscription is still cheaper though in the long run.Overall, I am very pleased, so I can highly recommend Tractive.I would definitely buy more units.

I have Siberian Huskies and Labradors all under 4 years old and they like to run. Although our property is completely fenced in, our lab like to find a weak spot and push his way through. I tried the Tractive Waterproof GPS Tracker and it's been a LIFESAVER!I was home inside and my husband was outside with the pups and my phone started to send notifications that my lab was outside the virtual fence. Yup, he ran out with one of my huskies.I opened the app and immediately switched it to live. There they were, over 4 miles away, across the road at our neighbors house. I jumped in my car & headed their way. My phone rang and it was my neighbors stating they had our sweet pups. I was already in front of their home!This has happened several times and the Tracker has been such an accurate and timely lifesaver.I wish the battery lasted longer as I only get about 2 days of charge, so I charge it overnight on the second day, or when I receive a notification that the battery needs charging.Again, I cannot say enough positive things about the Tracker! I highly recommend!

I live in a rural area with spotty cell service in several areas around me - so it does not track in those areas. But my cell phone does not work in the same areas so I can't blame the tracker. It works very well when we travel into town with better cell service.Sometimes I get false alerts that my dog has left the designated safe area if she gets to close to the boarder, but thats okay, I'd rather know that shes close to the boarde then have it alert after shes down the road somewhere.I suggest trying it on the monthly plan to verify service in your area. If you start out with a longer plan and it dosent work in your area, they DO NOT refund service plans. They also make it a little tricky to find the monthly service plan on the app when setting it up. I had to go on the FAQ on the website to find it.The activity / sleep tracker dosen't update unless hooked up the app via bluetooth, but thats okay. I just update when I get home & see what my dog has been up to during the day.The battery life has been super good so far. Last about 7 days, depending on usage. Using the "Live" mode tends to drain the battery faster, but not too bad. Battery recharges in a couple hrs so it's no big deal.Overall, I'm very happy with the tracker. I has a learning curve to using it but is a lot of fun tracking your pet just for the enjoyment of tracker. When my husband takes the dog for a car ride, I can track / watch everywhere the go and see when they are going to arrive home.
